藍鳥連勝中止果然成了換人時機，即使川崎宗則是藍鳥的福星，也是帶給球隊不少歡樂的人物，但王建民暫時沒有和他合作的機會了，由於藍鳥主力遊擊手雷耶斯 (Jose Reyes)傷癒歸隊下，川崎宗則也失去了大聯盟舞台
