不過鮮少人知道，兄弟大飯店洪家的崛起，與「兄弟牌縫紉機」有關，
從台南起家，公司目前仍在台南成功路上、大觀音亭興濟宮旁；
洪家人相當低調，不願多談，街坊鄰居也說洪家人相當客氣，會和鄰居打招呼，
但其他事情並未深入探究。
